Title: Color-coding
Author: [info]akaxiah
Rating: G
Prompt: "mcdonald's grimace" (207 words.)
Pairing: yoosu

Summary: "Today is royal purple." Junsu says suddenly, randomly.

They are in the car, driving to another photo shoot, or was it an interview? With their schedule, it was normal to forget.

"Today is royal purple." Junsu says suddenly, randomly.

The others don't see it. Yoochun smiles.

Yoochun finishes his latest composition with a flourish, and before Junsu could get a word in, he asks, eyes crinkling at the edges, "What color is today?"

Junsu's lower lip sticks out in thought, and after a while says, "Today is sea-blue."

"What part of the sea?"

"The part where you can drown in."

Yoochun sees Junsu frowning over the careful construction of a pyramid of cards. He saunters over, a knee purposefully knocking against one table leg ("HEY!"). A shrug ("Oops, sorry. Ouch, that hurt.").

"Today you're.. The day is bunny pink," the dolphin voice almost-croaks accusingly.

Everyone looks strangely over at the pair when they hear Yoochun wheezing, looking like he's about to die from laughing too much.

"Today is black," Yoochun says, lips moving to linger on the other's chin.
(Junsu doesn't get it).

on the 2nd day of christmas your true friend gave to you~ 2 yoosu ficcies! here's the 1st out of 2, .

Title: Gizzidy (Giddy/Dizzy)
Author: [info]akaxiah
Rating: G
Prompt: "downward dog (yoga)" (in 173 words)
Pairing: Yoosu

Summary: When he met Junsu, his world turned upside down.

It all but took a smile, and Yoochun was a goner. He doesn’t know how the other does it. Others needed some sort of bribe. Jaejoong and the way he could always understand, Yunho and the air of assurance he emits, Changmin’s straightforwardness and company for nightly haunts. Junsu was selfish, he takes takes takes. Yet there was no denying that Junsu was a huge part of his day.

What was it with the other that makes him always look his way? That makes him touch? That makes him laugh at the silliest of jokes (that if anyone else said, he would have looked incredulously at).

He doesn’t understand, but he doesn’t not like it either.

He has tried being upside down, physically, before. What was childhood without attempted headstands? He remembers that even only after a few seconds, he felt like he was drowning, the pressure too great in his head. The blood rushing up, or down, rather, to his head, would impair him of any thought.

…Yes, that’s exactly it. That’s exactly how Junsu makes him feel sometimes. Blood-to-the-head dizzy and giddy. And even though it’s uncomfortable, it makes him feel like he has won something.

Title: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
Author: [info]akaxiah
Rating: G
Prompt: "eine kleine nachtmusik" (290 or 308 words.)
Pairing: Minsu

Summary: A little night music. (not what you'd expect)

Changmin was well into his book when he hears a crash inside Junsu's room. He would have ignored it, but his other hyungs were out partying somewhere (why they really loved crowded, over-noisy places was beyond Changmin. They had their fair share of dim places with strobe lights and dancing/being worshipped/flirting during concerts already).

He gives an impatient sigh, marks the book and walks through the open door. He begins, "I can't believe you can still be so noisy even while you're asleep -"

The sight makes him pause, would have made him laugh were it not for the look in his hyung's face. The older male was on the floor, sort of half-sitting, an elbow keeping his torso up. The blanket tangled around his limbs, even half-covered his head, but Junsu made no move to extricate himself from the sheet. Instead, he was looking around manically, eyes focusing and unfocusing, brows knitted together. He could have looked menacing, if it weren't for the trembling lips. And boy, could his lips tremble.

Shaking himself out of narrating to himself how the other boy looked right now, he hurries to half-squat, half-kneel before his hyung, and slides the corner of the blanket from the un-styled bed-hair. Junsu snaps to attention -- "Changmin! Changmin, stay with me", his huskier-than-normal bedroom voice rings out hurriedly.

Changmin's logical, snarky side couldn't stop his detestable mushy side fast enough - "Sure. Forever, if you want."

This makes Junsu wake up fully, back stiffening, "Oh. No need. I don't want to get old early from your sadistic tendencies."

A tic immediately starts in Changmin's left eye. He grabs a large part of the free sheet on the floor, and proceeds to pull it over Junsu's face.

(later on, as he was starting on a new chapter, he wonders where junsu picked up 'sadistic tendencies')

for your 3rd day of christmas, , 2/3.

Title: Curiostiy Makes a Cheshire Cat
Author: [info]akaxiah
Rating: G
Prompt: "unhealthy obsession" (not what you expected, huh?:p 365 words)
Pairing: Minsu

Summary: "This is our song", Junsu tells Changmin, handing him earphones.

The latter looks suspisciouly at the offering, can vaguely hear the music starting and thinks something comical-sounding will reach his ears.

When he puts the pair on though, a soothing melody trashes his expectations. It is instrumental, a piano playing, and Changmin recognizes it to be some classical music, or baroque or what, he never really knew the difference.

His posture remains rigid on the bed, (though he secretly enjoyed the mp3), while Junsu watches from the carpet, observing the other's reactions. The melody soon tapers off to the final moments before fading out. Junsu, who had shifted his eyes staring at the bar that indicated how far the music had gone, doesn't wait for Changmin to relinquish the earphones. He stands, confiscates, then wears them. He stalks out of the room then, like nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Unexpectedly, the music plagues Changmin, plays in his head when he least expects it - Just when he comes out of the shower, while separating beans from the rest of his dinner, as he's taking a book from a shelf.

He had asked everyone, humming the tune as best as he could to describe it, but no one could place it. He backtracks to all the the movies or anime they'd watched that week, just in case Junsu picked it up from those, but no, it wasn't there.

He is haunted, thinks that this is one of his hyung's devious pranks to make him end up losing sleep over something so trivial. Really, his hyung wasn't the innocent boy everyone though he was, he was the devil. The devil!

At the back of his mind, he knows that he is bothered because he doesn't know why this song was Their song... or to be more honest - unlocking what this song was would give him an idea of what They were, in his hyung's eyes.

Changmin got lucky and saw that Junsu left his laptop open. Even luckier, after a few clicks, the song suddenly plays, and his eyes quickly dart to the file name.

He laughs, shuts the computer, and goes to sleep.

Title: Point of View
Author: [info]akaxiah

Prompt: "random" (here you go, brat. 382 words.)
Pairing: Minsu

Summary:
"I love you." Changmin tells Junsu out of the blue one day, without preamble.

"I love you." Changmin tells Junsu out of the blue one day, without preamble.

Said hyung on the bed stops squishing an extra-soft plushie, looks at the younger man seated on the floor with a controller in hand and smiles hugely, "Oh. I love you too."

Changmin doesn't expect this, doesn't know what to do and says profanities in his head when the older boy goes back to the interrupted task of squeezing the stuffed toy while humming. Maybe he's wrong and he really hates his hyung because Changmin doesn't know what to make of this incident.

Junsu is reading manga by the edge of the couch, feet stretched out, resting across his bandmate's lap. Changmin absentmindedly flips through his own book, the heat emitted from his hyung's leg serving as a huge distraction. He sees a spot of white, recognizes it as an ankle, and before he could stop himself, his fingers trace the periphery of the protruding bone.

"I love you, hyung."

Junsu doesn't budge, doesn't even flinch at either proclamation or ministration. Changmin figures it to be the fault of his immense concentration.

Frustratedly, he pinches the skin that he can manage to grab between his fingers and flings the legs to the floor. Junsu yelps, (the maknae doesn't know if it was because of the pinch or because Junsu almost fell from his perch) and Changmin stalks angrily out of their living room. Junsu follows him with his eyes, clearly at a loss to what just happened.

"I hate you." Changmin, eyes glaring at Junsu, mutters into his mug that's half-tilted to his mouth. He gulps the remnant of his coffee, stands and then heads over to their shoe cabinet.

"You're so confusing!" Junsu says as he bops the head of the taller male (height currently reduced by a third because he was tying his shoes). He then rapidly heads off to some other place.

Changmin, after wincing a bit from the blow and who had been in the process of forming loops out of each end of the shoelace, seems to have been turned to stone, his mouth agape. He de-freezes after a while, finishes his task in a millisecond and stomps after the vanished boy.

Really, the gall of that hyung to call him confusing!

after a huge amount of debating and forcing coercing nicely, here are stories written by a friend for a friend. friend refuses to post them in her own lj because.

Skip to Yoosu - It's Okay, Sometimes
Skip to Minsu - It's Crazy, What Distance Does

Title: Indulgence (Makes a Spoiled Brat)
Author:
Pairing: HoSu
Rating: G
Genre: fluff
Summary: Everyone else can't find Junsu.

Everyone bustles and rushes around him, as Yunho reclines and buries his behind in the soft couch that had been waiting to be occupied. As he closes his eyes, Yoochun suddenly appears beside him, "Hyung, we can't find Junsu."

"Not in his room?"

"Nope".

"Look for Junho."

Yoochun walks away from him, and leadersshi contemplates stealing a quick nap. He was on his way to dreamland too, when someone taps him on the shoulder. He opens his eyes. It was Jaejoong this time, "He's not with Junho."

Yunho groans, "Hyukjae?"

The older man heads off.

Yunho is adjusting his position on the couch and fluffing pillows up when Junsu's mother gets into his peripheral vision, "He's not with Hyukjae either. Nor is he in the bathroom, with Xiahki, in the piano room.." Worry was evident in her features, "Changmin already went out to look for him".

At this, Yunho stands up, assures her that he'll find Junsu and bring him back in time for the surprise. He puts on a coat, grabs an extra one after a bit of musing, then heads out. Yunho doesn't think -- he just walks, lets his body reminisce old paths and old sceneries. He ends up at a playground. It is quiet, except for crickets and rustling leaves. He smiles when he spots a certain structure, and moves towards it. Yunho squats at the entrance, and sure enough, the missing person is there, knees up to his chest, and humming lightly, only soft enough to be contained within the cave-like building.

When Yunho moves in, Junsu scoots a bit to the side, but doesn't look at him.

"It's almost midnight."

A nod.

"They're all looking for you."

"Yeah."

"Let's go back."

The shorter boy doesn't budge though, doesn't speak. He shivers slightly. Yunho wraps the extra coat around him, then decides not to remove his arm. Junsu leans on his shoulder.

"How do you want to spend your birthday?"

Junsu is humming again, and Yunho knows that the younger boy has his eyes closed.

"Just like this, for a bit longer?"

Yunho smiles, and thinks that a few more minutes can't hurt.

Skip to Minsu - It's Crazy, What Distance Does

Title: It's Okay, Sometimes
Author:
Pairing: yoosu
Rating: G
Genre: fluff, drama?

Summary: Yoochun doesn't understand it, but every time he sees Junsu, he is overwhelmed by notes and words.

Everything's all jumbled up, but they're there, playing in his head, working their way to his fingers until they're moving on their own. Often, he's not in front of his tools, so he runs his hand on a counter, on the table, on the soft cushion that is the couch. Sometimes, he plays on Junsu's skin - palm, arm - and even when he doesn't mean it, on the younger man's cheek, jaw, chin, and almost near the lips. He ends up startling Junsu, but the man is shy? kind? - Considerate, yes, that's it.. Junsu is considerate enough to move away discretely, as ninja-esque as he can.

Everytime this happens, Yoochun thinks he understands then and there why he only writes sad songs, ends up singing lyricful of goodbyes and unrequited loves.

He hears the baritenor say something silly, followed by an embarrassed laugh, and Yoochun can't help but collapse in a fit of giggles, wheezing and ending up on Junsu's shoulder for support.

He mentally slaps himself then, thinking that really, his moods shouldn't depend so much on a person. But Junsu looks his way, flashes a bright smile, and Yoochun decides that maybe, sometimes, it would be alright.

Title: It's Crazy, What Distance Does

Pairing: minsu
Rating: G
Genre: comedy, fluff

Summary: Changmin wakes up one day and feels out of sorts.

Across him, he sees that Yunho-hyung's up, unshaven face giving him a sort of haunted look, and he looks as lost as Changmin feels. When his stomach starts complaining, he gets up, attempts to arrange his bed, but cant seem to remember where pillows and blankets were supposed to go, so he decides to start preparing for the day instead.

When he exits the room, he spots Jaejoong-hyung on their dining table, toast in a glass, and milk on a saucer and was that butter floating in the middle of it?

Changmin shakes his head to make sure, but the image is still there, so he heads towards the bathroom and almost runs into Yoochun, who is pouring conditioner on a toothbrush.

Must be a bad day for all of them, Changmin concludes. He almost forgets that Junsu is in Brazil, filming for the Anyband CF. He wonders briefly if Junsu is having a similar day too.

Later, on the way to the airport, Changmin keeps checking his bag, sensing that he must have left something behind, forgotten something. He backtracks to this morning, and yes, he'd had breakfast, bathed, and no, he had checked his luggage in, so that wasn't it.

It was as he was fastening his seatbelt that he realizes, with a painful pang, that he's missing his heart, knows that it's miles away -- Junsu must have pocketed it by mistake.

He can't wait to see the brat again, only so he could get his heart back. He panics when thoughts that Junsu might have wrecked it by now, or perhaps lost it in some street somewhere and it'd would be irreparable, irretrievable, dances in his head.

When they see their fifth member again in Paris, everyone practically pounces on him, but Changmin stands back, watches them poke, hug. Amidst all the coddling, Junsu manages to look right through to him, and grins. Changmin knew then that it would be alright if Junsu keeps his heart for a while.

fic exchange: [Not] Love
minsu
[info]akaxiah
Title: [Not] Love
Author: [info]akaxiah
Rating: PG, just to be sure
Prompt: for [info]skyangel2009's life, hearts, beach prompt hope you like this!
Warning: i've never written anything so long before >_<
Summary: Changmin feels that his world is so small.

Life

Changmin removes his flip-flops, takes and feels everything in, and eventually begins to walk. The light breeze whips his hair in various directions, brushes up sand across his cheeks. He wiggles his toes a bit, enjoys the sensation of grit in between. He looks around and becomes satisfied with the way the place is half-deserted – there were maybe just two or three couples loitering around, and they couldn’t care less who he was (he didn’t care too anyway, as long as they left him alone). He plops down, removes his camera’s strap from his neck and carefully places the contraption on his lap.

Being in this sort of place has always been refreshing for the youngest in the group. The endless stretch of sea and sky made the fact that his world was so small, so painfully vivid. He imagines that he can see all that he possesses, the sort of non-material ones, right in front of him, and starts sorting out which was his, and which were someone else’s--

Here’s my lopsided smile, my height, there’s Yoochun-hyung’s tears (or teary-eyed-ness), Jaejoong-hyung’s quiet. Oh, my sarcasm (they said I’d been missing this), Junsu’s childishness, Yunho-hyung’s passion for dancing, my long limbs, Junsu’s jokes, Yoochun’s ability to write lyrics, my IQ (haha).

There’s Jaejoong-hyung’s way of covering his smile, my shyness, Yunho-hyung’s confidence…

So small
, his world was so small, consisting of work, family, and four other people, one of which who seemed to have stealthily snuck in.

..Was it Junsu’s, or my own cuteness? Is it his happiness, or mine?

It’s disconcerting when your happiness (or any other emotion) depends on someone. Why was it, that where this hyung of his was concerned, he feels a sense of imbalance, that sort of similar sensation when you’re dreaming that you’re falling towards something and wake up with a jolt? Changmin is still waiting for that nudge. In his current state, it makes him want to always provoke and poke the smaller man, because maybe then, he’d find the answers to his question.

But what does Junsu have to do with him figuring things out?

And more importantly... what do you call this sensation?

Hearts

“Yoochun, how big is a heart?” Junsu had asked, voice half-muffled by the fact that his head was stuck in a cabinet, rummaging not-so-neatly through its contents. Changmin marvels at how his hyung was even able to tell that it was Yoochun who just walked past him, and decides that with a posterior as big as that, it’ll definitely have a life of its own (and consequently eyes to spy on people passing by). Bored, he made up his mind to only half listen, but their baritone had crouched beside Junsu, making the latter sit back on his haunches to pay attention, and Changmin, peer a bit more closer, to see what was going on.

Yoochun takes the other’s hand, balls it up and with a smile, answers, “About this big”, cupping the fist in his own two hands.

“Okay!” The answer was too bright, too blinding. Changmin continues to eat.

Later, when they were given permission to spend time in any way , Changmin immediately hooks up with the hotel’s WiFi and surfs uhm…very PG stuff. Yoochun-hyung and Jaejoong hyung were probably taking a drag somewhere, Yunho-hyung having a chat with their manager, while Junsu… where was Junsu?

After all the rummaging he did, he had managed to borrow a mini-shovel from someone, and, borrowing sandals from Yunho-hyung (without permission!), had headed out.

Changmin cringes. So small. His world was so small.

He closed off his laptop, grabbed his camera and headed out.

When he looks up, a big fat droplet promptly lands on his eye. The whole right side of his face crinkles a bit from the sting, but he has no time to wipe it off, when it is followed by another and many others. Thinking only about the safety of his camera, he gets up, hurriedly brushes the sand off his butt, and runs to their room.

Everyone is there; the two eldest are deciding on where they’ll order dinner, Yoochun is sipping from a warm cup of something, and he could hear their manager typing away in one of the rooms. Changmin is the only one who has realized that Junsu is missing. Without thinking, he puts down the camera on the couch and goes off again.

Life, Hearts, Beach

Junsu is digging fervently, clumsily at first, because the wind made a mess of everything. Now that the sand was moist, he made short work of the task. Changmin finds him in a really grimy state, the sand lodging even between the locks of his hair. In front of him was a narrow hole that seemed quite deep. The younger man stops half-a foot away from him, to avoid getting equally dirty, and almost trips over a glass bottle. Frustrated, he asks, “What are you doing?”

“Digging.”

If he wasn’t already all muddy, Changmin would have flung a handful of wet gravel at him, “Obviously.”

“Then why are you asking if you could already see that I’m digging?”

The taller man exhales quite violently, then reclines. The droplets pelt his face, but he doesn’t care anymore. He was already soaked through to his underwear anyway, it wouldn’t make any more difference.

“Done!” Junsu says, then surprises the other by laying beside him. The bottle is in his hand, poised above his chest. Changmin watches as his hyung, eyes closed, just lies impossibly still (for Junsu, anyway), that he becomes convinced that his companion somehow died. Just as his hand was about to touch Junsu’s cheek, the eyes fly open, and, turning to his dongsaeng with a really wide grin, he says, “We’re really good at keeping secrets.”

Changmin can only half-process what had been said. His mind was flying back to when he first met this hyung, when Yunho had semi-pushed a sort of sulky Junsu towards a hesitant, and years younger Changmin. When the older boy had looked at him, the pouting lips had twitched and became a blinding smile. A thought passed through Changmin’s head then, how could he have forgotten, it was something so important. He needs to remember –

A rustling of cloth makes Changmin realize that his hyung has already gotten up, and begins to place the bottle in the hole. The younger boy has never done a sit up as fast as what he had just done, and his arm darts out to stop Junsu. For the first time, he notices that the jar is just big enough to enclose his hyung’s fist.

Hello love at first sight, nice to meet you too.

-the memory hits Changmin powerfully, making him recoil. As he lands on his butt, he ends up snatching the container away from a puzzled-looking Junsu. The older man is about to say something, head tilting to one side, but Changmin beats him to it, “Wait a bit, ‘kay?”

Junsu nods, sits beside him.

“Hey, Junsu..”

Changmin catches the other’s lips with his own. He felt the sharp way Junsu took an intake of breath, can feel the shivers being emitted (but that was probably from the cold). Slowly (though not as steadily as he hoped), Changmin moved away.
Junsu avoids his eyes, opts to stare at the jar in Changmin’s hand. The rain keeps on going.

A drop falls on his eyelashes, the younger boy breathes out, places the bottle against his chest, all the while looking at his hyung.
Junsu finally meets his eyes.

Later, they walk back towards their hotel, wet clothes and plastered sand making each step heavier. Just before going in, Junsu pauses, grabs one of Changmin’s sleeve, and smiles at him when he says, “Next year… maybe we can go back for it?”

FICs | A Garden Blooms Unnanounced & Storm-chaser
allsu
[info]akaxiah

a friend emailed a list of plunnies that should have already been written a long time ago. *wants to bury self and hide forever*
overdue plot bunnies

well, since am feeling a bit industrious, 2 fics, both nice to read with a cup of coffee and a plate of cake on a cool day:

[1]

Title:
A Garden Blooms Unannounced
Pairing: Hosu~
Disclaimers: don't own them~
Warnings: not really eventful. just thoughts.

Summary: Yunho sees Junsu with a water pail and thinks that it's quite fitting.

He muses that Junsu could be -- is a gardener (with an absurdly green thumb). He burrows deep without you noticing, and leaves sleeping embryos in the holes. They incubate, grow at all the wrong moments - when you're tired and slumped in the couch, at ungodly hours in the dark, when you're cold to the bone. They uncurl, reach out, break ground. Yunho would hear his laugh echo in the empty room, see his smile when he turns corners, feel the weight of arms on his shoulders when he does something silly. These implanted zygotes extend and form an intricate network or roots; the group leader knows that to pull them out is to die.

'Well, you could live with it', Yunho shrugs, then stands back and watches the seedlings unfurl and blossom. It's just that Junsu just has to send minions of butterfly touches and grins that pollinate and encourage more to bloom. It'll only be a while more before he will be totally encased.

(Yunho simply doesn't realize that plants don't grow if you don't water them, or give them enough nutrients.)

[2]
Skip to Hosu - A Garden Blooms Unnanounced

Title:
Storm Chaser
Pairing: Minsu
Disclaimers: don't own them~
Warnings: very short, mere babbling.

Changmin thinks that Junsu is a walking natural disaster.

He leaves nothing intact - broken dishes, ripped pages, yanked doorknobs (imagine that), bent spoons, dismembered stuffed toys, spilled food (unforgiveable), busted lights, flooded bathrooms.

His logical mind screams for him to evacuate, hurry!

Yet Changmin plants his feet firmly on the ground, opens his arms, and meets him head-on.

(It could be worth it.)

Title: The World is a Better Place When It's Upside Down
Rating: G
Prompt: [info]junsu_hyung's "Walks in the rain" here you go ♥
Disclaimer: this is fiction based on real people whom no one owns
Warnings: uhm. very short and pointless.

Changmin  thinks that Junsu is the north magnetic pole and that he is the south magnetic pole. It's no wonder then that he always somehow ends up stuck with his hyung.

Like now.

Their manager would most definitely scold them, no, him (because Junsu can almost always seem to get out of being scolded) for being out while the clouds were spitting on them. But his -brilliant- hyung had stated that they could only go out without disguises when the weather was unfavorable to everyone else.

Fine. But the taller male had latched on Junsu's arm for safety measure. His clumsy bandmate had a penchant for being flushed into drains along with leaves after all, or be suddenly warped off to some place. Or something.

What a bother ---

Giggling made Changmin realize that he was holding onto nothing, and that his companion was zooming in and out of view in brief flashes. Which was worrying, because the pavement was very slippery and it would be so easy to slip and --

A jump and he gets hit on the head, "Tag, you're it!"

"Huh?" the younger man replies intelligently, competitive side compelling his body to start to give chase.

Junsu abruptly stops running and spins around. With a grin, he proclaims, "Now it's your turn to love me".

And Changmin slips (and falls).

FICs | Between Sunrises and Sunsets & Misconception
allsu
[info]akaxiah
just some cutesy nonsensical fics that popped out of nowhere.
(hope you enjoy)

Title: Between Sunrises and Sunsets
Pairings: Yoosu, Minsu
Disclaimer: No one's mine~ and this is pure fiction.
Warnings: the usual. this is just some random, unbeta-d piece of work.

Summary:
Junsu couldn't decide between sunrises and sunsets.

He liked them both, for sure.

He used to always watch how the waking rays chased away the shadows in their room. It looked like a game, a block of darkness moving over grooves and bumps of their ceiling and shelves, only to be replaced by light.

He and Yoochun used to hunt for the best places to watch the sunrise. The rooftop (though they'd end up facing the wrong way, them being both dorks and all), on a hill, by the garage, on their balcony. (However, Yoochun would often use the sunrise as a way to spite him when they had petty arguments - he'd wake someone else and drive over to somewhere to watch the sunrise with that someone else.)

But Junsu also loved how the sunset painted different colors in the sky and slowly dyed it black... how it would somehow pave the way for stars to shine or how it turns the moon on.

He and Changmin would never fail to watch sunsets whenever they happened to have some event by the sea. The waters always sparkled like it was littered with different gems and would dance before their eyes. (It would be cold but Changmin was warm, him being the muscular person that he was).

Junsu really couldn't decide between sunrises and sunsets.

drabble.

Title: Misconception
Pairings: Yoomin? Yoosu, Minsu
Disclaimer: No one's mine~ and this is pure fiction.
Warnings: the usual. this is just some random, unbeta-d piece of work. very short.

Summary:
Some things aren't always as they seem.

Changmin raises his chin up, lifts an arm slightly and makes sure to flex it. Fierce would be the only word to describe how he looked. Beside him, Yoochun appears to be in a languid mood, head effortlessly tilted to the side, eyes dark and inviting. The photographer clicks, clicks, clicks away.

To everyone else, they seemed like the closest of friends. The way they would always seem to gang up on Junsu, alternatingly initiating the teasings. How they always seemed to be having conversations by themselves recently; or that they would be spotted doing stuff together - a lot.

Oh if they only knew. It was a competition. Every conversation would have 84% Junsu as its topic. How that kid did this and that, and who was with him at that time (and no, it wasn't cute at all, he was such a dork); how that childish adult cheated in what game, or scribbled on music sheets. All the teasings were contests to see who knew Junsu better, because they'd know, more than the other, which buttons to push. Really, those fond and friendly pats on the backs? Getting more painful each time.

Close friends?

Pfft. If they only knew.

Summary: We don't have to make things complicated.

"I found an effective cure for my fear of heights," Yoochun tells Junsu, who was precariously perched on an outcropping rock. The latter had been lost in thought, watching the crashing waves below him. He had his hands between his legs to keep his balance. It looked dangerous, but the expression of his face contrasted reality. His grin served as sunlight.

"Really?" he asks, turning towards him, and Yoochun feels dizzy for a moment.

"Uh-huh."

And he languidly walks towards the younger boy, hair gently whipped up and to all directions. He sits just as placidly beside Junsu, then reaches out and places an arm across the other's waist.

Summary: It's all part of life.

Junsu is scribbling nonsense, posterior sinking in the living room couch and Yoochun plops down gracelessly beside him. The group dolphin barely pauses from what he's doing as Yoochun places his chin on Junsu's shoulder, watches him make doodles for a bit, before rudely taking the pen, "Have you ever been in love?"

Junsu turns to him, reaches for the it, but Yoochun has leaned backwards, long arms preventing the other from reclaiming it, "Hey, give it back."

"Have you?" Yoochun repeats, grin almost reaching his ears.

"Yes."

Yoochun raises a brow, and makes to give the pen back. However, Junsu is looking past him and has become trite, and awfully quiet. When the voices disappear, he soberly accepts the pen, and tries to go back to what he had been doing before the interruptions. He can't seem to concentrate, "Yoochun?"

"Yeah?" he watches the hunched shoulders, the tight grip on the pen.

"Do you know how it feels to break your heart?"

And Yoochun, knowing full well who the owners of the voices were, replies, "Yes."

Title: As Always
Pairing: hyuksu
Disclaimers: don't own them~
Warnings: am at work, hehe.

Summary: There are some things that are lost forever; there are also some things that just won't change.

You're 7 and find out that you had a talent for making people, even if they were strangers, laugh. You crack a joke and get rewarded with a boisterous, from-the-gut sound, and a blinding grin, and you know you've found a good friend.

You're still 7, and is amazed at how he has a twin.. who barely resembles him.

You're almost 8, and find out that you make a good team in soccer.

He's 9 and you're 10, and you find him mesmerized by something on TV. You sit beside him and he utters, eyes still glued to the screen, "Let's do this."

That was the beginning of all the crazy things you both started and did.

You're 14 and numb when you receive a letter from an entertainment company, saying you got accepted. When you get his excited call later, you're happier than anyone in the world.

You're 16 and life is on hold. Sungmin stays at a corner, watching. Junsu is in your arms, exhausted. You're all just waiting for rain.

You're 17, and could have just been part of the upholstery when a man tells him he's debuting with four others. Yunho looks like he had known about it for a time. You can't help but feel envy, forgetting it was his dream and that you were merely tagging along because you both promised to be together forever. But Junsu wouldn't even look at you. So you just hold him tight and say nothing.

He just turned 17 and you're right there in the backstage with him and Sungmin and the others. The other four appear nervous, but he looks relaxed, despite saying he was shaking in his pants (so you feel nervous for him, instead). He doesn't look at you, and they eventually receive their curtain call. As he passes by you, he touches your hand, "I'm so glad you're here."

You're 19 and bursting with happiness as you perform right there beside him, just like old times. He was awesome. You were awesome. You're both awesome.

You're 19 still, and after waiting for so long, it's your turn on stage. You are nervous like hell, but you feel the shape of a cell phone in your pocket (that you really must remove later) and strength returns, remembering how childish his SMS was.

Later, you spent hours on the phone with him, mostly crying.

You're almost 21, and spending time watching videos off the internet. Your forehead is all wrinkled up by the time Eeteuk retrieves you for practice, followed by Donghae who exclaims, "Wow, they're in Japan again?"

"Junsu always looks like a lost kid everytime Yoochun does that", Sungmin laughingly says after magically appearing.

Later, while taking a break, Shindong hits you lightly on the head, "What are you being in such a bad mood for?"

Today, you find out that his group is at the same airport at the exact same moment that you are. You find yourself slowly moving away from your own group, then quicker as you imagine hearing a voice. Your fellow members aren't surprised.

You spot him a mile away. He has half his back, half his side onto you. His smile is wide, voice alive as he melodiously chatters away, his two audience captive (but you must tease him later about forcing them to listen to him). You stand beside him, inserting yourself in the queue (belatedly realizing that you've left your luggage with the others, but oh well). He doesn't stop with his storytelling, even as Yoochun and Changmin shift their eyes to you in acknowledgment (they don't seem surprised either). He keeps his sight on them, but takes your hand.

Title:
All You Need is Randomness
Pairing: Minsu (for [info]junsu_hyung )
Disclaimer: I don't own people.
Warnings: at-part-time-job kind of fic :D and you know. this is a typical mushy gushy fic. not quite original.

Summary: Who should make the first move?

Changmin blissfully reads through a book he had to stow away for the longest time because of rehearsals, not to mention performances, TV guestings left and right. Add to that childish hyungs who seemed to refuse to leave him alone.

patter patter patter

Shooing away the tic forming above a brow, he resumes reading when the noise has faded away enough.

squeak. patter squeak louder squeak patter.

"Hyung."

Junsu freezes in his tracks and strangely looks very startled, "Huh?"

"Why are you more restless than usual? It's bothering me."

"Ah." Still rooted in his place, not to mention pose, he starts to space out once more. When he blinks again, he is surprised, as well as disoriented, to find himself seated on the couch beside a satisfied-looking Changmin. He observes for a bit, and then -

"You know what, Changminnie? I think holding on to someone you really like when you know it's better to let go and forget is like eating too much ice cream."

Changmin, all too used to the way his hyung's mind worked, closed his book and turns to look at his seatmate, "Ah. You mean it tastes and makes you feel good, even though you know it's going to make you sick."

Junsu pouts a little, and excitedly nods. Then he bites his lip, and, making a noncommittal sound, leans forward and embraces the taller male. Then leisurely, he lets go, and makes up for the slow movement by rapidly getting to his feet. He has begun walking away when Changmin catches his wrist, "Junsu, wait."

Towering over his hyung, Changmin appears out of breath, "You're so dense."

Junsu's eyes linger at Changmin's hand, which hasn't relinquished it's hold on his wrist yet, then defiantly at the the latter, "You coward."

Changmin gapes at his hyung, "Wha-? Me? When you're always hanging onto - okay, when you always let Yoochun latch onto you? And hey, you could also have come out and said it first."

"Shut up and hug me. You'll miss your cue."

Nostrils flaring at being told what to do (even if the gesture ordered was quite lovely), he eventually grins maliciously as a thought crosses his mind, "I have a better idea."

"Hm? -"

Changmin straightens.  Junsu blinks. Then a color seeps upwards from his toes to his forehead. He managed to sputter, "Ah. Ah. Pervert! Min, you pervert!"

"What?!"

"Ugh." Junsu tugs his hand out.

"You're just being childish. It's just a kiss."

"I didn't expect it!"

"How can I be romantic if I ask for your permission first?"

Jaejoong hums as he sips his coffee, "Feels like a movie."

Yunho turns a page in his newspaper, "If it were, it would be a major flop."

Title: Old Light
Pairing: Hosu
Disclaimer: I don't own people.
Warnings: at-part-time-job kind of fic :D. not quite happy.

Summary: Time can do a lot of things.

They used to have a lot to say between them both. Now, they were barely a meter from each other, yet they could have been in different rooms, heck different planets even.

Junsu was counting fibers on a pillow case, then setting it down, smoothing his side burns, then suddenly moving his legs to some song's steps.

Yunho, on the other hand, was sitting still, looking thoughtful. After the nth time Junsu bumps his knee to the table top, though, he takes out a notebook and pretends to write lyrics. It is bulky, almost old, and contained mostly thoughts instead of fluid poetry. And pictures, a lot of them, all randomly inserted, all weathered and a bit faded by all the rain they have gone through.

"Junsu..." Yunho suddenly speaks out, softly, and Junsu knows this tone well. He looks up but remains planted. The older man, eyes still on a photograph, repeats, "Junsu."

He knows when to comply and moves closer, until Yunho can take him into his arms. The leader rests his chin on the shorter man's head, and holds him tighter. Junsu merely leans against him, keeps still.

"You don't need me anymore", Yunho whispers, breath playing with the hair below it. Junsu's own catches in his throat when he is squeezed a bit harder, and misses the chance to say, 'You're the one I need most'.

When Jaejoong arrives an hour later, Junsu is playing with cards, and Yunho is reading a magazine.

FIC | It Starts With Envy
jaesu
[info]akaxiah
am feeling like writing massive JunsuXanyone fics. (when have i never?XD)
this is one of those fics.

Title: It Starts With Envy
Pairings: Jaesu, a bit of Yoosu, maybe, and JaeXeveryone (tinsy)
Disclaimers: no one's mine
Warnings: done during my shift at a part-time job. un-betad. first time writing jaesu. dunno the dynamics of the pairing much too.x_x

Summary: Junsu is Jaejoong's secret.

He couldn't pinpoint when or where or how it began, it just did. He figures that he may have fallen in love with each member in turns, starting with Yunho, and blames it on the absurd amount of time they all spent together, living under one roof, and his lack of a girlfriend. However, after the pattern of falling for Yunho, then Yoochun, then Changmin, Changmin-Yoochun-Yunho, Yoochun-Changmin-Yunho, the inevitable happened and he began thinking differently of Junsu. No, it wasn't the way he danced, which was what it was with Yunho, or how he could talk you out of your pants, like Yoochun sometimes could, and he certainly didn't have Changmin's wit. The more the main vocalist tried figuring it out, the deeper he fell into the trap. (No, No, really, it wasn't the hips, or the singing that could carry much emotion, nor was it the angelic smile beam or that perfectly-shaped derriere).

Junsu could be selfish and immature, and basically, be a brat. And, when he wanted to be, shallow. And very one-track-minded. An open book.

They were opposites, Jae mused. Like sun and moon.

Yet he sees Junsu getting tired then coming alive again because the others were tired too and needed stress relief even if it meant being eccentric or being picked on; the way he would push himself, though exhausted, to make up for Yunho's blank spaces when injured... how he certainly fails at Dayunghaji because he could never throw insults at anyone - these were things that he wasn't.

They were opposites.

And Junsu was too random. "I want to wash you hair", he tells him one day and Jaejoong mistakenly accepts. The way the baritenor massaged and caressed his scalp felt really good, especially after that stressful day, and Junsu was humming a tune he didn't recognize. He watched when the younger boy turned away for one thing or another. Junsu is upside down, and this makes Jaejoong's stomach do flip-flops. Must be what they say about having a change in perspective, in the literal sense. He closes his eyes to stop feeling that way, and this turned out to be a mistake because he felt more strongly now that there were no more visual distractions. He thinks he could imagine it to be Yunho-Yoochun-Changmin, but he's wrong and it can only be Junsu in his mind. Those fingers that stroked keys on his synthesizer... and he wants to bolt, even with soapsuds and all, but the other suddenly announces, "All done", helps him up and dries his hair off.

Junsu is Jaejoong's secret at three in the morning. No one else must know that their group dolphin gets up at dawn to read books... not Bleach or to practice dancing or to even think of soccer. He forms a ball on the couch while he reads, that Jaejoong almost missed him the first time.

"Want something to eat?" - because this ability is what makes the others like him, Jaejoong assumes.

Junsu breaks out into a grin and replies, "Teach me to cook."

And that's what they do on most days when they're not too tired that they'd end up burning the house, especially with Junsu's accident-prone-ness, until about 4:30 am (too short for the cook's liking, but they have to get back to bed and pretend to have been sleeping restfully). Once he asked if he was taking the shorter boy away from his reading, and the latter merely replied (while focusing on not ending up with charcoal), "This is like reading a cookbook."

One time, Jaejoong gets up excitedly, only to find Junsu's head on Changmin's lap in the living room, and he thinks he's dreaming. Perhaps because he was still sleep-befuddled that when Changmin sees him, the youngest squints, raises an eyebrow, and then breaks out into a wide, all-knowing grin.

"Who would have guessed?", the boy states and Jaejoong wants to run away, or pummel him with a pillow, quickly schooling his features back into the poker face he usually wears. Junsu stirs, rubs sleepy eyes and at Changmin's "Jae-hyung's here", smiles brightly.

"Hyung, Changmin woke me, saying he was hungry, so I told him you usually wake up at this time and cook".

Now it's Junsu that Jaejoong wants to beat with a pillow. Or maybe just smother him to death.. with a hug. He sighs and heads towards the kitchen instead.

"I actually just wanted to see it to believe it", the tallest says out of the blue.

"Huh?" Junsu asks while the now-apron-clad man stiffens, and makes sure to put too much salt in.

Three people must make a lot more noise than two (duh), because a sleepy voice rambled, "Hey, you're having a party without me."

Jaejoong turns just in time to see Yoochun wrap his arms around Junsu's waist from the back, then resting his chin on the younger man's shoulder. Jaejoong thinks that the newcomer was just a person who sought body warmth, and pushed the thought that even though Yoochun put his chin on anyone's shoulder, he didn't embrace or even just randomly hold the other three member's hands, away.

"It's burning, hyung."

Junsu pauses from speaking with Yoochun and looks at Jaejoong strangely. By the time he had made another batch, Junsu had retired to bed, and Yunho was awake and with the other two at the table. Jaejoong reprimands himself and tells himself it would have been easier if he just stuck to these three.

Jaejoong does what he is known a lot for, and that is to sit by himself and think things over. About Junsu and Yoochun, and Yoosu. And how now, he was being all schizophrenic, swinging from hot to cold when it came to dealing with the baritenor - avoiding having to look at him, and then looking during their duets; avoiding skin contact, and then touching too much (making sure the other wouldn't notice). Jaejoong would like to think that when he joins in on bullying Junsu, the latter retaliates by allowing Yoochun or Yunho (and sometimes Changmin), too much skinship.

Yoochun, Yoochun... Jaejoong repeats in his head, What must I do when you also seem interested in Junsu?

"I feel like I'm cheating on Yoochun-hyung too", a voice interrupts, and for a moment Jaejoong thinks he has said something out loud, or that he has voices in his head, if only it didn't sound too much like Changmin.

The said boy sank down beside him, and waited. Jaejoong measures the words in his head, gives up, "What do you mean?"

"By letting the two of you flirt around each other, it feels like I'm an accessory to your crime (against Yoochun)."

Spluttering, "Flir.. Flirting?" And when he processed the whole line in his head, "Junsu-?"

"It starts with envy, you know", Changmin begins, "Love is so easy to mistake as hate. And when you're not careful, envy becomes a desire, not to obtain what the person has that you don't have, but desire for the person himself."

Jaejoong tilts and rests the back of his head against the wall. He doesn't know if he asked out loud, or if Changmin just read his mind (he seems to be doing this a lot lately), but as the younger man gets up, his parting words were, "You're not a child anymore. Neither is he."

22.
Summer Dream

Everything is still and warm, but Yoochun doesn't move from being plastered by Junsu's side. They sit, unmoving, eyes closed. They can hear the sound of waves crashing against sand, and the shrill song of seagulls. Junsu feels Yoochun moving a limb, so he opens his eyes, and immediately shields them, "So bright."

Yoochun grins and points out, "Look, a yacht."

His companion squints and leans forward, "Wah, you're right --"

The scenery suddenly turns black and gets swallowed into a tiny dot. "What are you two weirdos doing? Yunho-hyung's been calling for the rehearsals to begin already", admonishes Changmin, remote control in hand used for emphasis.

Yoochun reaches for it but is too slow, so he falls flat on his forearms, "Aw Min, you're no fun."

Changmin merely 'tsks' and goes away.

23.
Song for You

Yoochun puts together pieces of notes and words; Junsu brings them to life. The composer dedicates them to him, but the singer doesn't notice. The baritone fashions the messages as he feels, until he thinks the lines are the cheesiest, the most blatant message in the world.

Melody after melody, lyrics after lyrics, and still, Junsu doesn't get it.

Jaejoong wants to try his luck too, and together, they sew and patch, but in the process, mistakenly sees how close Yunho and Junsu have gotten in the period they were distracted. They end up with a song of parting and goodbye, a resolve to be satisfied with the way things are, and to let go.

Yoochun thinks it's too sad and it shows in the way he sings; Jaejoong expels the last word with conviction.Yunho sings it like the leader that he is and agrees when Junsu says he loves the song.

Junsu really just doesn't get it. (And apparently, neither does Yunho).

24.
Love in the Ice

Yoochun is brooding and looks moodily out the window. He fingers a gadget in his pocket, not being able to decide between keeping it as it is, or in silent mode. He seems impatient, nervous, undecided. He spots Junsu scribbling, bottom sunk into their living room couch; adjacent from where the younger man is Changmin, feet propped up on the same couch, and, while enjoying the music in his ipod, finds happiness in prodding his hyung once in a while with a toe, or a whole foot.

Yoochun's phone sings, mid-thought, and his blood flows, and he suddenly comes alive. He skips towards Junsu, pulls him up without warning, and dances with him a clumsy waltz. One of his hands grasps his partner's, the other settles on the waist. Junsu allows him to, and they spin around. Yoochun's eyes are closed. Changmin feigns disinterest.

The baritone abruptly halts and brings them both to a mock flourish: a semi-dip. He opens his eyes and languidly closes the gap between his lips and Junsu's. The latter watches at first, then rapidly turns away. Yoochun lands a sound kiss on the other's cheek. He pulls them both back up, and humming, grabs his keys from the counter and exits the apartment.

Junsu is still, eyes straight ahead and through the window. A car's engine comes to life, just as he spots a snowflake gliding. "It's cold", he remarks, and then Changmin finds himself an armful of his hyung. He senses tremors and embraces tighter.

The younger boy feels the cold too.

25. Shine

In his universe, Yoochun was the sun, and he was the moon.

Junsu used to think that he didn't want his happiness to depend on someone else.

26.
Ride On

There was no delaying allowed.
Two Choices: Turn back and forget what had been said, or...

Yoochun holds out a hand. Junsu takes it.

26.
Last Angel
(not really theirs, but...)

What Yoochun hated the most was having something he couldn't acquire dangling in front of him. What added insult to injury was that he was doing it by choice.

"Junsu is innocent, pure", Changmin says to an interviewer yet again, and Yoochun knows that it wasn't only a description, it was a reminder, a warning, if need be. The tallest member adds a few more words which Junsu seemed to appreciate, and as the two moved to shake hands (right in front of him!), Yoochun fights the urge to feign falling forward.

28. Forever Love

"I've fallen in love about a hundred times! Even more!" Yoochun protests.

Yunho laughs amusedly, and Jaejoong smiles in that teasing way of his. Changmin is.. well, being Changmin, wearing that 'My hyungs are so childish' look.

Frustrated, Yoochun leans back, hand landing not-so-accidentally on Junsu's, and he whispers conspiringly, "And lately, all With the same person."

He manages to give a ghost of a peck without the others noticing. Junsu turns into a ripe strawberry.

29. Together

This time, it's pictionary, and Yoochun stands and grabs a whiteboard marker. He picks out a piece of folded paper, reads its contents and thinks for a bit. He turns before anyone can see his smile.

"One minute starts now", Yunho declares, and Yoochun draws a music sheet and keyboard first, and then footprints on a.. beach? Then he sketches a convenience store-like building, and with an arrow pointing to it, natto.

"Together!!!" came a voice with a jump from the seat.

"Yeah!" the two high-five.

Jaejoong looks incredulously at Yunho, while Changmin exclaims, "What? How'd you guess that?"

Junsu merely flashes a grin.

-----

woot! all done am free! XD

FIClet | Of Course
minsu
[info]akaxiah
just a quick story that's been ricocheting between my neurons lately.

Title: Of Course
Pairing/s: Minsu and a tiny bit of something else
Genre: uhm. ranty-fluffy-random
Rating: very G

Summary: There had to be a reason.

Yoochun pats him gleefully on his back, smile transforming his face into a wrinkled ball of happiness, "That was ruthless". This was followed by laughter.

Changmin grins back an, "It was way too easy. Junsu doesn't have a deliberate mean bone in his body so he can't throw insults. That or it's because he thinks like a child and retorts like one."

"A positive idiot, hahaha," quotes Yoochun.

His peripheral vision catches sight of Yunho approaching the object of their conversation, who had a sheepish grin on his face (which must be the reason why he was the ram in their Balloons stint, but then this is straying from the matter at hand). Their leader-sshi affectionately ruffles, no it was more of a caress, the younger boy's hair. Changmin knew that the former wanted no more than to hug the other, but somehow, the gesture had been lost between them. If it would happen, it'd be awkward or look too much like... like something was being held back.

Changmin shouldn't complain about it, really. But right now, even just the controlled gesture of patting Junsu's head was sending him into thinking mean thoughts.

("Changmeanie~" he could hear that unique voice complaining laughingly, and don't you wonder where he picked that English word from again and wasn't it cute?)

He turns away and half-listens to Yoochun's gurgling, "Really, you're so good at that game."

And Changmin debates in his head that no, he was probably only good against Junsu because he watches his hyung too much. He knew where to hit best because he knew every quirk, every mannerism, hell, every line and mole the guy had.

FICLET | That Alanis Morisette Song
hosu2
[info]akaxiah
third and last entry for the community post book at hosu_yongwonhi. thanks for bearing with me!^_^

TITLE:
That Alanis Morisette Song
prompt: #2 - word
user name: [info]akaxiah

Disclaimer: real people, but they're not mine. this story is, though.
Summary: And isn't it Ironic?

Yunho uses words to mask how he feels. The way his insides become floozy when he sees Junsu's bright smile. The way he would also be tearing up just from hearing that unique voice breaking while singing, even if it was because of someone else. The way he wants to just touch his dongsaeng (really, a mere poke would do). The way he wants to become a high wall surrounding the younger man so that no one else, and nothing bad, could scale it.

Junsu uses words to try to express how he feels inside. How he becomes happy only because it's Yunho, whose name's syllables are enough to send him grinning. Or how he likes it when Yunho empathizes with how he feels. How he wants Yunho to touch him more - a poke would do. The way he feels so safe around him all the time.

Yunho hates the way he ends up saying exactly what is on his mind.
Junsu, on the other hand, is frustrated that he ends up blabbering, and holding someone else's hand instead.

FICLET | Accomplice
hosu
[info]akaxiah
another entry for the community post book @ hosu_yongwonhi. (second-to-the-last!)

this was quite inspired by [info]kurogoma 's comment in the other fic.

TITLE: Accomplice
prompt: #17 - cube
user name: [info]akaxiah

Disclaimer: real people, not real story
Summary: Partners-in-crime are the best.

Junsu gives a low growl, and this is enough to catch Yunho's attention. An angled head merits a pouty reply, "Rubik's cube" (Junsu ignores a voice, "Hyung, spell 'Rubik's' ").

The group leader abandons his magazine, and with a smile, heads over to the younger man's bed, "Here, let me show you."

Junsu is stubborn, so he doesn't hand it over. Yunho holds one corner of the cube, and Junsu clamps  down harder. The older man lets out a breath, amusedly - he was certainly used to this scenario. So he sits behind his dongsaeng, legs on either side of Junsu's own, and clasps both hands that hold the toy. He pulls, and the smaller man ends up resting against his chest.

There is only silence, heartbeats and the sound of turning. Yunho's palms are warm against Junsu's hands, and the latter stares intently at the way the lines and colors are shifting, as if memorizing the pattern, when in fact, he was using it as a distraction.

Yunho stops. "I'm stuck."

"Chang-Changminnie is good at this", Junsu lets out and then wants to hit his head against any hard surface.

Yunho contemplates, then turns to their other roommate, "Hey Changmin, come help us, will you?"

The youngest turns from his laptop, stoically glances at his hyungs, replies, "I don't know anything about it.", and resumes his interrupted task.

The leader shrugs and looks at Junsu, "Oh well, we'll both solve this, won't we?", and resumes moving rows and columns around.

Junsu remembers again why he loves Changmin so much ♥.

FICLET | It Can Mean a Lot of Things

an entry for the community post book @ hosu_yongwonhi.

warning: absurdly short

TITLE: It Can Mean a Lot of Things
prompt: #7 - Sigh
user name: [info]akaxiah

Disclaimer: they are real people, but not mine.
Summary: The YooSuMin triplet watches Yunho dance.

Yunho bends an elbow and simultaneously leans both knees the other way. He fluidly recovers and executes a different move, much much slower this time, the motion of his arms drawing waves painstakingly in the air. Then he snaps and does a 360° turn, head arrogantly tilted, body angled as if sending out an invitation for a confrontation. He spots three figures on the floor and loses focus for a moment, a smile erupting from his lips, but then immediately regains his concentration, feet sliding effortlessly across the floor. He pops, and his sweat shakes loose, creating a bit of a glimmer.

Junsu sighs.

Yoochun opens his eyes when he feels his makeshift bed heave, "What's with that discontented sound? You move as well as he does. There's no point comparing. You two have different dance styles, and it shows when we perform. I've overheard our stylists comment that during dance numbers they don't know whom to look at - you or Yunho-hyung. I wish the rest of us would go past our movement phase."

Changmin doesn't even look up from the book he's reading, as if the effort wasn't worth it, "Hyung, you don't understand Junsu at all."
